FIELD TECHNICIAN FOR SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL HOMES

Are you looking for a long-term position with an employer offering tremendous growth opportunities? We are looking for two (2) hands-on Technicians to be a part of our Renovations/Turns Team. The right person for this role will have experience as a home remodeler, a residential handyman, or working for a major single-family real estate owner. The right candidate will have broad experience and knowledge of all areas of general home repair/renovation such as interior patching and painting, light carpentry, and repairing or replacing general components such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, doors, toilets, etc. Also required are a working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, landscaping and irrigation systems, and you must be able to follow and rapidly close out punch lists. Having a keen eye for quality workmanship is important, as is easily comprehending directions from project management staff to deliver a superior work product that exceeds our clients' expectations. This is an opportunity to learn and grow while providing critical support to a dynamic field operations team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair items such as showers, sinks, toilets, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, lights, etc.
• Must be able to exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate the quality of work.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of Real Estate Construction, Renovations, and Repairs.
• Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and painting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & high-performance standards
• Excellent communication skills (both oral & written).
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work efficiently and to multi-task
• Proven record of working independently and with minor supervision
• An effective team player with a positive attitude
• Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
• Prior maintenance experience working at a large multi-family property, or within the single-family rental industry

EDUCATION

• High school or equivalent (required)

LICENSES, EQUIPMENT, ETC.

• Valid Driver's License and clean-ish driving record
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to get to and from worksites
