    The FIELD SUPERINTENDENT position is responsible for supervising and working side-by-side in support of our Field Project Managers, our Field Technicians, and third-party vendors in all aspects of the projects to which they are assigned. The successful candidate will have experience working in residential service, have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliances, landscaping, and irrigation systems, drafting/following/closing punch lists, and have a keen eye for quality workmanship. The Field Superintendent must easily comprehend directions from project management staff and area directors in order to deliver a superior work product that exceeds our clients' expectations. This is an opportunity to learn and grow while providing critical support to a dynamic field operations team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise and coach internal technicians and vendors to assist them in completing projects and punch lists on-time and within the budgeted dollar amount.
    • Always hold yourself and all members of our team accountable and immediately address and correct any deficiencies in workmanship, behavior, attitude, performance, and thoroughness. 
    • Own the results of the projects to which you are assigned and readily admit when you have made a mistake, so we all learn from it and it does not get repeated.
    • Assign, coordinate and schedule technicians to assignments or tasks for which they are best suited in our most time-sensitive projects.  
    • Be the on-site Company representative to either handle vendor questions or issues, and to escalate and communicate to a Field Project Manager any issues that are not immediately resolvable, that require FPM approval, or could delay project completion.
    • Perform quality control inspections and ensure all identified punch list items are completed either by the subcontractor our techs..
    • Complete property inspections, deliver materials, close out project deficiency lists.
    • Thoughtfully complete weekly report to upper management detailing the week's wins, losses, issues, observations, ideas to improve efficiency, excellent or substandard personnel, and all other factors affecting your projects.  
    • Be expeditious at occasionally completing basic repairs as needed to reduce cycle times and make punch lists are closed timely and days to completion are achieved.
    • Ensure all workplace safety standards and practices are upheld and properties are always acceptable for client visits, and strict adherence to company guidelines related to smoking, breaks, premises work practices and restrictions, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong knowledge of the basic workings of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliance, landscaping, and irrigation systems
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & high-performance standards
    • Strong communication skills (both oral & written)
    • Ability to work efficiently in a multi-task environment
    • An effective team player with a positive attitude
    • Ability to work when work needs to be done

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

    • High School Graduate
    • Individuals with SFR and multi-unit maintenance experience desired

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

    Will require frequent travel throughout the market to visit job sites. Will be exposed to the normal weather elements of the market, as well as noises, tools and chemicals ordinarily found in residential construction sites and used in house cleaning services.
