    PR MANAGER

    LetsGetChecked seeks a self-motivated PR Manager to help develop and execute a comprehensive communications program. Core competencies include corporate communications, public relations, strategic communications, crisis communications, strategic partnerships, influencer management, and leadership.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with the Director of PR and Communications to execute a global strategic communications initiative for our rapidly evolving health insights company that serves consumers, investors, partners, and employees.
    • Execute the communications strategy that supports the companys business and reputation objectives, working in close coordination with the Director of PR and Communications as well as the wider marketing and designs teams.
    • Assist with the management of an influencer program including working with an agency to proactively research trending influencers, manage relationships with influencers, and track coverage of LetsGetChecked as generated by influencers.
    • Assist with the development of messages and programs that capture and convey LetsGetCheckeds unique mission, brand and business proposition leveraging industry best practices for media relations, while also pushing beyond the expected with creative initiatives and strategies.
    • Assist the Director of PR and Communications in working directly with media to secure positive coverage of LetsGetChecked products, leadership and company story. This includes: assisting with proactive outreach with PR agencies, fielding incoming inquiries, and injecting the company into relevant trend stories and news.
    • Establish and grow relationships with global, national and local print, online and broadcast media, spanning consumer, business, technology, innovation, and mens / womens health press.
    • Work with the Director of PR and Communications to develop written materials, including press pitches, Q&As, talking points, media statements, core messages, and other communications to key audiences.
    • Execute strategies to build thought leadership for LetsGetChecked leaders, working to develop content pieces, secure media profiles, and high-impact speaking engagements.
    • Assist with ongoing communications planning to support key LetsGetChecked initiatives, product launches, events, and partnerships.
    • Monitor and track all press features and communication, establishing action points on content.
    • Collaborate with the LetsGetChecked senior team to embed aspirational stories into the communications strategy and execution.
    • Manage and develop relationships with external PR agencies to execute communications strategies.

    • Has fluency in Google suites and PR monitoring tools (Cision, Meltwater, MuckRack etc.)

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5+ years of professional experience in communications/public relations.
    • Has played a key role in communications at a consumer brand that has scaled significantly and has expanded globally.
    • Track record of generating positive stories and driving buzz for a consumer brand, especially in the mens / womens health space.
    • Experience managing reputational issues and mitigating negative press.
    • Ability to leverage social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networks - to amplify and drive positive press coverage.
