    Job Description

     

    Lettire Construction is seeking an individual with strong leadership ability and hand on detail experiences plus strong cost accounting skills for a Controller position. Candidates must be super independent, analytical and highly motivated with solid computer and people skills with positive attitude all time. Successful candidates will have their Bachelor’s Degree in either finance or accounting with 10+ years construction and development industry and Property Management experiences. Expert level experience in Excel is required. THE SAGE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM EXPERIENCE IS A MUST and SAP background is a plus. MUST PREVIOUSLY WORKED FOR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES!     Key Responsibilities:

    · Work independently. Oversee and supervise the accounting team

    · Report to CFO directly, work with developer department and project teams

    · Have strong experiences in Property Management and Construction Management field. Familiar with GC, CM & CCIP type of projects in construction.

    · And have strong asset manager experiences. Analysis budgets/costs/Expenses for the property, experiences in Property Management

    · Familiar with handling the accounting for construction loan & permanent loan closing

    ·Familiar and hand on with all construction accounting tasks. Supervise project accountants for all accounting needs

    ·Professional with Sage 300 accounting system

    · Review monthly project cash flow, compiling support for owner funding

    · Assist monthly progress billings vs. job cost reconciliation, best / worst / probable case analysis for projects, monthly operating cost report, update monthly job costs report, update the monthly job status reports

    ·Prepare all kinds of reports for monthly operation management review meeting and different reports for upper level management request

    ·Assist CFO with preparation of all kinds of audits and tax workpapers.

     

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline; or equivalent, relevant experience and knowledge

    · Minimum of 10 years’ related asset manager & Controller / project accounting experiences; or construction industry accounting experience is must

    · Strong organization skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple functions and independently achieve objectives

    · Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    · Self-Starter; SAGE 300 ACCOUNTING SYSTEM EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! performs duties without daily direction. Must possess a professional image
