    We are Lettuce Grow -- a dynamic direct-to-consumer company at the intersection of ag-tech and sustainable food. Together with our parent company, The Farm Project (a Public Benefit Corporation), we are working on creating a new food system. We believe that the future of food lies in empowering thriving, localized food economies that benefit the health of the people, the planet, and the communities around us. Our mission is to empower everyone to grow at least 20% of their own food.

    The Marketing Coordinator will work hand in hand with our Director of Marketing and creative team to help coordinate and execute digital campaigns as well as provide campaign analytics and support. The role will provide exposure to various aspects of marketing, including social media, paid ads, email, customer service, web/user experience, and ecommerce operations. Passion for food, cooking, and sustainability is a must.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist marketing team with the execution of annual marketing strategy
    • Execute, grow, monitor and maintain social media content strategies and overall social media presence
    • Write, edit and create engaging content for social networks, digital and print collateral, emails, blogs, website and digital content following the brand guidelines
    • Maintain tracking and detailed reporting of press, social, and marketing placements and analytics
    • Coordinate marketing projects based on yearly marketing strategy
    • Identify and analyze competitors
    • Collaborate with the design team
    • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely fashion
    • Organize and coordinate promotional activities for new products and events 
    • Assist in photo and video shoots

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 1-2 years proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of DTC social media and marketing best practices and platforms
    • Strong organizational and written communication skills
    • Exceptional Copywriting and proof-reading skills
    • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
    • Self-starter that is results oriented
    • Team player that can interact with outside agencies as well as internal cross functional teams
    • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
    • Graphic design experience is a plus!
