    Job Title: Level 1 Support Technician We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Level 1 Support Technician to join our Managed Services team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, tackling a variety of technical challenges, and setting up new environments. You will be the first point of contact for new client onboardings and provide hands-on support with hardware/software installations, network configurations, and security solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Visit new client sites to perform initial environment assessments and setup activities for onboarding (limited travel is estimated to be less than 30% and we will have a company vehicle for local travel).
    • Initial support of networking environment, wireless access points, and related network hardware.
    • Deploy and configure EVR (Endpoint Vulnerability Remediation) agents and other security tools on client endpoints.
    • Set up and troubleshoot security cameras and other physical security systems as required.
    • Manage and resolve NOC (Network Operations Center) tickets, escalating issues to senior technicians when necessary.
    • Assist with user account creation, password resets, and basic system administration tasks.
    • Perform software and hardware installations and updates on Windows and/or Mac environments.
    • Document all work performed, ensuring accurate records for client environments and ticket history.
    • Deliver a positive client experience by maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
    • Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts.
    • Basic experience with Windows desktop/server operating systems and Active Directory.
    • Familiarity with endpoint protection, patch management tools, and security camera systems is a plus.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Comfortable working independently at client sites and communicating with non-technical users.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit client locations.
