AKA | LEVEL 28 (level28.com) is seeking a CLUB ASSOCIATE for Philadelphia’s first “vertical neighborhood” at our UNIVERSITY CITY location in WEST PHILADELPHIA. This VIP Club Experience occupies the entire 28th floor of our striking new glass tower and is dedicated to our residents’ well-being and enjoyment. Amenities include an expansive lap pool; state of the art Techno Gym fitness center and yoga area; a 3D golf simulator; outdoor terrace with fire pits; sophisticated a.lounge (bar area); business center facilities; and a private screening room.

The ideal CLUB ASSOCIATE candidate has previous guest service or and/or previous fitness club experience. Catering experience is a plus.

Candidates are passionate, service-oriented, super positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and fitness and an excitement for our brand. You work well on a hyper-organized, efficient, forward-thinking problem-solving team with exceptional interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail.

POSITION:

• Club Associate (competitive hourly rate + full benefits after 90 days, 401K, and PTO)

EXPERIENCE DESIRED: 

• Minimum of one year of working in the food and beverage industry and hotels
• Demonstrated strong guest service skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a “can do” positive attitude.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral).
• Experience and comfortability with technology and fitness equipment

QUALITIES DESIRED: 

• Provide high-level customer service and hospitality to our residents and all Team Members.
• Approach all encounters with residents and Members comfortably and in a friendly approachable way
• Assist the Management in daily Level 28 tasks and projects
• Work as a cohesive team with all staff members to ensure efficiency and camaraderie
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance as outlined by the AKA Image requirements including wearing the proper uniform attire and name tag at all times while on the property.
• Maintain Resident/guest privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information.
• Have intimate knowledge of the surrounding area including but not limited to: restaurants, retail, arts, cultural activities, etc
• Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your position.
• Maintain the distinct Level 28 aesthetic, appearance atmosphere, and culture
• Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
