Job Description

Level All is looking for onsite Video Editors responsible for editing short-form content within existing guidelines and providing motion graphics on projects as needed. Experience with creating educational explainer videos is a plus (whiteboard animations, Prezi animation, etc). You should be technically proficient and have experience with digital video and interactive video platforms (Brightcove, Vimeo, etc).

Full-time temporary employment (W-2), 5 days/week onsite (NYC).

As a Video Editor you’ll:

• Execute multiple short-form projects within parameters established by Video Editing leadership with limited internal oversight and approval.
• Assemble footage into rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining creative and organizational standards.
• Ensure all content is delivered to the correct specifications.
• Work with footage received from internal studio production teams.
• Support other Video Editors to pass off and take on new projects in varying stages of completion.
• Participate in the digital QA process with designated colleagues to ensure the quality of work across all projects.
• Prepare for creative direction developments and pivot as appropriate in response to direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of video editing experience.
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Frame io, and [some] Photoshop.
• Experience with technical aspects of editing (Interactive Video), Digital Asset Management and different technical video pipelines and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborator.
• Deep passion for everything video editing; plus, staying up to date with new innovations.
• Prominent understanding of all aspects of post-production, deliverables and storage.
• Ability to receive and interpret creative feedback from internal and external clients to direct revisions.
• Thrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to identify unique solutions to complicated problems.
• Active listener with a strong ability to think critically.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work onsite (NYC) 5 days / week.
• BA in Video Design, Film Production/Post-Production, Media Studies or desired or equivalent experience.

Additional Information

• Level All does not provide work authorization and/or visa sponsorship.
• Compensation range: $300 - $350 per day. This represents the expected compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, we will consider location, skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors in determining our offer.
