    Level II IT Field Technician

    This is a fieldwork and installation role , with a home base in the office. The role involves the successful, end-to-end management of assigned installation tasks, consistently ensuring delivery meets Techmenity’s company standards and principles.



    ** Essential Functions:**

    Proactive installation, support, feedback, and accountability for projects assigned by the IT & MSP Manager.

    Lead by example, holding yourself to high standards while supporting company initiatives.

    Contribute to a dynamic and creative work environment where employees are trusted to communicate openly, perform at their highest level, make valuable contributions to the team, and meet rigorous expectations.

    Lead and execute assigned IT projects from conception to completion. Including but not limited to:

    Verify work performed meets company standards/principles, including proper testing and client tutorials.

    Create and maintain all project-related documentation following Techmenity company guidelines.

    Provide project updates and progress reports regularly.

    Installation, implementation, maintenance, and quality control of assigned installation projects.

    Create and maintain meticulous project-related documentation, including client systems and job details.

    Demonstrated IT Field Experience

    Friendly and precise communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Functions well in team, collaborative, and independent project work.

    Easy adaptability to a wide range of clients, job sites, and project sizes.

    Independent problem-solver and tinkerer of creative solutions when necessary.

    Preferred: (A combination of)

    3+ years experience repairing/troubleshooting/diagnosing equipment such as: printers, phones, computers, networking equipment, and other common home and office equipment.

    2+ years experience with network terminations, punch downs, and cable toning and testing

    1+ years Azure Active Directory and/or Active Directory Domain Services

    1+ years Google Admin/Micrsoft Admin Platform

    1+ years using an Identity and Access Management (IAM) such as Okta, Ping, OneLogin.

    1+ years working with Box, SharePoint, Lucid chart, Dropbox or another Document Management System

    1+ Years experience with Routers, Switches and Access Points

    Demonstrated experience with:

    Network terminations, punch downs, and cable toning and testing

    Analyzing and managing Endpoint Detection and Response

    VoIP and hardware. (Yealink,Poly, etc…)

    Device Management with Microsoft Intune/EndPoint Manager

    Virtual Environments (Virtualbox, VMware)

    Managing company SSL Certificates, domain names and DNS records.

    Configuring and maintaining VPN’s (site to site, client)

    Managing password managers (LastPass, etc)
