Our busy firm is seeking an experienced architect to help bring clients’ dreams to life! You will work with clients and project managers to ensure all considerations are integrated into the design. You will use your CAD skills to create detailed construction documents and oversee the build process to make sure the clients’ quality and cost expectations are met. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working on residential construction projects. Exceptional communication, project management, and drawing skills are a must. Responsibilities: • Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specialized systems. • Liaises with Project Management, other architects/architectural staff, and consultants. • Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. • Coordinates with Director and Department Head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies. Project size differentiates this position from the senior level. Qualifications: • 7 or more years' experience non-licensed architectural staff • Professional degree in Architecture, plus at least eight years of related experience • Proficiency in Auto CAD, REVU Bluebeam • Strong portfolio of completed projects • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Knowledge of building codes and regulations • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Path to licensure is strongly preferred Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
