This Warehouse Associate position is responsible for the accountability of our warehouse inventory, both shipping and receiving of merchandise and overall safety & security of the facility. The warehouse associate will have great organizational skills, be detail oriented and be the leader of safe work practices.

Summary of essential job functions

· Conducts daily cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory

· Maintains physical inventory quantities and validate against perpetual

· Assists in taking quarterly physical inventories

· Conducts Primary/Overstock slot verification

Validates customer returns against return sheets, pick-ups and invoices.

Conducts date list checks daily.

Prepares and coordinate vendor returns.

Operates forklift to fulfill, receive and ship product.

Works closely with various internal departments within the company.

Performs special projects as needed.

Pulls and scans correct items and quantities of product for customer orders

Verifies shelf life of products is within specifications

Tags items with proper labels

Stacks pallets properly

Properly records any product damages

Ensures product is packaged properly for optimal shipping

· Maintains safe and secure work environment

Experience and Skills

· Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and meet deadlines and be able to work under minimal supervision

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures for an extended period.

Physical demands

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
