Job Description

LevelUp Force has an urgent need for a C++ AND JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER to support one of our prestigious Satellite Telecommunications customers in San Diego, CA.

This position will require working onsite at the San Diego, CA location.

US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION TO MEET THE CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform software design, development, integration and support activities for embedded networking, system, and application software.
• Document designs and communicate requirements
• Complete development projects on time and within budget.
• Analyze and resolve software issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ year of professional hands-on Java development experience (not just college projects).
• 1+ years of professional experience with C++ development (not just college projects).
• Experience with Inter-Process Communication Protocols.
• Knowledge of gRPC, Protobuf, and ZeroMQ.
• BS in Computer Science or related field; MS preferred.
• Must have both C++ and Java work experience.
