  • Responsibilities

      Support all computer, phone, and networking functions at CTDI facilities; and assist other department members as required. Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring computer systems are up-to-date.

    • Provide hands-on support to users.
    • Apply software patches and upgrades.
    • Maintain Windows PC’s & peripherals including laser printers, label printers, bar-code scanners, etc.
    • Installation and deployment of networking hardware and/or computers for new production lines
    • Prepare hardware, software, back-office, and domain accounts for new users.
    • Manage wired and wireless networks
    • Manage domain accounts and email accounts requests from Corporate IT team
    • Minor PC repair and parts ordering
    • Investigate PC and network connectivity issues
    • Set up and configure work benches as per department/Operations requirement
    • Record, track and document issues and their resolutions – including initial problem, successful and unsuccessful decisions made, actions taken and final resolution.
    • Other tasks as determined by supervisor.

    Required Skills

    • Problem solving and critical thinking skills are a must
    • Excellent troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to prioritize and manage time
    • Capable of some heavy lifting
    • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
    • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast paced organization
    • Highly motivated team player
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communciate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization

    Required Experience

    The ideal candidate will have education, training, or experience with most or all of the below:

    • Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
    • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
    • CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent
    • Microsoft Office
    • Wired and wireless networking
