    **About the role
    ** As a Senior Programmer – AI, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with the design and development of Latham production applications including programming, coding, and debugging applications. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Working with and making recommendations to the Development Supervisors and Managers regarding the maintenance and enhancement of existing Latham production applications
    • Working independently to develop and implement comprehensive computing solutions that solve user business requirements; developing solutions in a professional manner and in accordance with established deliverable schedules and firm procedures
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement generative AI models that can solve complex business problems and drive innovation
    • Contributing to the entire lifecycle of AI/ML applications including concept, design, test, release, and support; staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our AI systems at the forefront of technological advancements
    • Participating in consultations with development staff, project analysts, and end-users regarding system requirements and functionality; designing recommended solutions
    • Coding, testing, and debugging application systems per developed specifications; developing prototypes of various stages of development; leading small, medium, and large size projects from design through deployment
    • Working with the project analysts and stakeholders to assist with gathering requirements, analyzing business problems, acceptance testing, etc.

    About you

    We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Possess advanced knowledge of C# and Python with the ability to design, develop, and debug applications
    • Exhibit advanced knowledge of MS-SQL including the development and maintenance of schemas, stored procedures, and functions; demonstrate experience with AI and ML platforms and tools
    • Possess strong computer science fundamentals that emphasize code reliability, maintainability and readability

    And have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field
    • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant programming experience, as well as a minimum of three (3) years of C# and SQL specific programming experience
    • A minimum of two (2) years of Python experience; experience building and productizing AI models and systems

    **Compensation & Benefits
    **Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.

  • Qualifications
    • AutoCAD Civil 3D modeling expertise including work with alignments, profiles, grading tools, corridor modeling, intersections and other elements of the program.
    • Familiarity with contours and grading including ADA site requirements
    • Stormwater / Drainage design and modeling experience for site related projects
    • Strong oral and written communication skills for preparation of project reports
    • Candidates must be capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
