HealthFitness is looking for part-time (flexible 2-4 hrs/wk) WATER AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR at our new client site in DOWNERS GROVE, IL!  In this position, you will be responsible for providing fun, effective and safe aquatic group exercise to members participating in the program such as Aqua Tabata, HIIT the Water, Aqua Tone, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Flu vaccination required.
• This client site requires full COVID-19 vaccination as an essential job function. ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

A bachelor’s degree is a requirement for this position.

Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who:

• Has at least three to five years of previous experience in a similar role;
• Has an understanding of marketing and college admissions experience;
• Displays strong project management skills;
• Possesses excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills;
• Is detail-orientated;
• Is able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and;
• Has prior supervisory experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and WordPress is preferred, but not a requirement.
