Provide administrative support to the Director and the Associate Director. Responsible for daily office operations and customer service; hire and supervise student staff; undertake data base creation; coordinate all logistics for Center's programs and special events, and oversee Thurman Center space reservation program; all while keeping withthe philosophy and teachings of Howard Thurman (as detailed in http://www.bu.edu/thurman/about/mission-vision/).

Required Skills

High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, problem solve, and meet deadlines. Must have the ability to work with confidential material, work independently, and one to three years of related experience.
