    Junior Operations Associate

    Palo Alto, CA; Bay Area, CA; New York, NY Hybrid: ~3 days a week in person in our New York or San Francisco office

    With a new round of funding from a premier Series A partner, the Mayfield Fund, we plan to expand our impact at the intersection of business and legal. As a result, we are looking for motivated, diligent, and creative internally-facing personnel to help keep us organized as we grow.

    As a Junior Operations Associate at LexCheck, your focus will be on keeping the goals of the executive team moving towards their finish lines. If you're the type of person who finds joy in keeping to-do lists, questioning the status quo, and learning new things just because you can, then we'd love for you to apply. Previous Jr Ops Associates at LexCheck have grown into positions from marketing to finance and beyond. We'll provide on-the-job training and encourage you to find departments you love. This position reports directly to our CEO.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

    • Coordinate with multiple internal teams on diverse projects to encourage momentum
    • Execute on various long and short term tasks as assigned by the executive team
    • Prepare travel options and budgets for team and company events
    • Assist with travel bookings for individual and team travel
    • Act as administrator for non-technical internal software
    • Follow up with executive team to ensure project movement
    • Take notes during key meetings to prepare memos and action items for attendees
    • Own the company-wide events calendar and assist with scheduling internal meetings 
    • Assist in new employee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training
    • Handle and organize sensitive employee information as necessary
    • Standardize and compile written documentation for internal processes

    WHAT YOU BRING: 

    • 2022 or expected 2023 graduate from a top university 
    • A strong academic background in any relevant field such as Linguistics, Psychology, English, Public Health, History, Economics, Political Science, etc. 
    • The ability to prioritize diverse long-term projects and daily tasks
    • A talent for multi-tasking and staying organized
    • A love of detail and a positive, go-getter attitude
    • A general sense of curiosity to always be learning more
    • A knack for picking up new softwares and a love of tech
    • Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
    • Dedication to activities that you find rewarding
    • An interest in startups and desire to learn more about startup culture
