    CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Cloud Architect to join our team supporting a Federal client in Rockville, MD. The candidate will serve as the primary technical point of contact for Cloud Platform Management and Support. Candidates should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.

    Responsibilities:

    • Apply DevSecOps principles, agile software engineering best practices, and tools to IT infrastructure and operation to help optimize IT delivery objectives
    • Provide technical consultation and offer solution to complex IT/cloud challenges
    • Design and guide implementation of cloud Enterprise IT architectures
    • Ensure consistency through technical design, engineering, and sustainment efforts

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer related discipline and ten (10) years of relevant work experience
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Experience working with various AWS Cloud services and tools such as, S3 and S3 Network Endpoints, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), SNS, ElasticCache, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Elastic Container Service (EC2), Secrets Manager, Application Load Balancers, Network Gateways, CloudTrail, Config
    • Experience with containers in Cloud deployments, such as Docker, Elastic Container Service (EC2), and Kubernetes
    • Direct experience and expertise performing Cloud Platform Management and Support.
    • Experience with the cloud migration process
    • Experience architecting, implementing, and managing complex networks in a cloud environment and designing networks
  • Qualifications
    • Provides a leadership role to assigned staff, oversees daily operations, and assists with Outpatient Infusion process improvements.
    • Maintains clinical competence as appropriate by area and serves as a clinical resource for Outpatient Infusions.
    • Prepares daily assignments to ensure an adequate number of staff.
    • Assists with quality improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data and initiating action plans to improve performance in collaboration with the Infusion Nurse Manager.
    • Ensures quality patient care while maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
    • Works collaboratively with leadership to meet customer needs and promote the Oncology service line and staff development.
    • Ensures that staff meets organizational behavioral standards. Participates in recruiting and retention efforts to facilitate an adequate number of qualified staff.
    • Delegates appropriately.
    • Addresses any complaints or concerns promptly. Daily rounds with patients/family members and reviews information received to recognize staff and improve service. Rounds with all staff regularly. Maintains ongoing interface with medical staff and acts on concerns promptly.
    • In collaboration with the Director, conducts monthly communication meetings with staff. Prepares agenda, minutes, and documents attendance.
    • Communicates issues and concerns promptly to the Director.
    • Attends and actively participates in assigned committees
    • Communicates new and revised policies and procedures to staff.
    • Continuous professional growth as demonstrated by; maintaining or obtaining professional certification in Oncology, attending and participating in local, regional and/or national conferences, and disseminating information to peers. Participates in community activities and cancer center projects.
    • Performs other duties as assigned to help the facility, department, and patient within the competency and scope of practice.
