    SALES ROLE WITHIN STABLE INDUSTRY

    The focus of this job is making connections with people, in order to generate opportunities for new business activity. The job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people. A self-confident, extroverted style that can enliven, engage and positively impact individuals and groups is essential. The job has variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing.

    The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. While there is urgency to goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results needs to be shared and effectively delegated when necessary. The ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to an ever changing “playing field” is a critical key to success. In general, the core of this position requires a motivated and motivating team builder while maintaining an attention to detail.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Making 100+ outbound calls/touches per week and tracking pipeline in company provided CRM
    • Become licensed to sell Property and Casualty and Group Health Insurance Products
    • Complete Insurance Applications and maintain client/prospect file in Agency Management System
    • Develop detailed and extensive product knowledge
    • Update and create email marketing campaigns
    • Work with Social Media Team to develop lead generation content
    • Go on outside sales calls with experience producers to facilitate the hopeful sale of generated opportunity plus develop skills needed to develop self-sustaining book of business

    EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    • No Insurance Industry Experience Required but a plus
    • Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
    • 3+ years of inside/outside sales experience
    • Demonstrated track record of successful appointment setting via multiple channels
    • Full Benefits package provided including medical, dental, vision, 401k
    • Starting Salary Commensurate with Experience and Educational Background PLUS Commission
    • Microsoft office Suite of Products Proficiency required in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
