Job Description

 We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist to handle the day to day human resources activities, as well as develop and administer human resources polices, procedures and programs. The generalist will carry out responsibilities in a various aspects of Human Resources, including recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee training and development, employee relations and grievances, performance reviews, employee benefits and compliance. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Recruiting and staffing 

·         Performance management and improvement systems

·         Organization development

·         Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting

·         Employee orientation, development, and training

·         Policy development and documentation

·         Employee relations

·         Benefits administration

·         Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

·         Employee services and counseling

-         Individual must be able to complete any reasonable request of management necessary to effectively operate the department/company

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

-·    Good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.

-     Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.

-     PHRca or equivalent HR Certification strongly preferred

-     Minimum three years experience working in Human Resources, with two years experience working in California

-     Experience and knowledge in employee relations, training, employment laws and practices, training and administration of benefits

-     Effective oral and written communication

-     Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

-    English language required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals and teams, opportunity to make decisions without supervision, mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences that impact the results of co-workers, customers or the company. Requires being exact or highly accurate, meeting strict deadlines, and working with others in a group or team. Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
