Berman Auto Group is expanding our corporate office team and seeking a detail-oriented License & Title / Biller to join our office staff. This position plays an important role in ensuring vehicle deals are processed accurately and that all title and registration documentation is completed in compliance with state requirements.

Job Title: License & Title Clerk / Biller
Location: Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (Oak Lawn, IL)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22 – $27 per hour BOE

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and bill retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle deals.
• Review deal jackets for completeness and accuracy.
• Post vehicle sales, trade-ins, warranties, and aftermarket products in the dealership management system.
• Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork to the appropriate agencies.
• Process title transfers, lien recordings, and duplicate titles.
• Track title work and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Resolve title discrepancies with lenders, customers, or state agencies.
• Keep organized and accurate records of deal and title paperwork.
• Assist with internal audits and month-end accounting tasks.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Accounting departments to ensure deals are processed smoothly.
• Communicate any missing or incorrect paperwork to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership billing and title experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines.
