We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert who can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Responsibilities: • Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/ revenue-generating activities • Use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients • Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves • Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects • Build and maintain strong client relationships: Establish trust and ongoing communication to understand and support clients’ long-term financial needs. • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate life insurance solutions: Conduct personalized evaluations to match clients with the most suitable policies. • Present and sell life insurance policies effectively: Clearly explain product options, benefits, and terms to help clients make informed decisions. • Assist clients throughout the application and underwriting process: Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted promptly to streamline approvals. • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements: Maintain up-to-date knowledge to ensure compliance and deliver informed guidance. Qualifications: • Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines • Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience • Some industry or product knowledge preferred and a High school diploma is required • Proven track record in sales • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills • Life Insurance license and FINRA investment licenses (e.g., Series 6 or 7), or willingness to obtain them within 60–90 days. • Proven sales and prospecting experience , preferably in insurance or financial services. • Self-starter with strong prospecting and networking abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to assess client needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions. • Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage leads and client records. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. • Bilingual abilities are a plus (but not required). Compensation: $65,000+ at plan
