Position Summary
Limitless Sports Medicine is seeking a licensed and certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our dynamic and growing team. This hourly position includes providing sports medicine care primarily through outreach coverage of local charter schools and Clark County schools. The ideal candidate is passionate about injury prevention, evidence-based treatment, and promoting athlete wellness both on and off the field, is available for evening and weekend shifts, and is willing to grow and learn in a collaborative environment with other ATCs, PTs, LMTs, and S&C coaches.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services in clinical and field settings.
Provide athletic training coverage for practices and events at assigned charter schools and Clark County schools, in collaboration with school staff and coaching personnel.
Develop and implement individualized recovery, injury prevention, and return-to-play plans.
Communicate regularly with coaches, parents, and school administrators regarding athlete health and participation status.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR and reporting systems.
Collaborate with physical therapists, strength coaches, physicians, and other medical professionals.
Educate student-athletes on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and wellness habits.
Participate in professional development, community outreach, and staff training events.
Schedule & Work Expectations
Hourly position with a range of $30-$37.50/hour; guaranteed hours available for the right candidate.
Includes evening, weekend, and travel coverage based on assigned school or event schedules.
Athletic Trainers may be expected to provide coverage for events outside of their primary site based on the needs of Limitless Sports Medicine, including both clinic hours and field/event coverage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
BOC Certification and an active ATC credential.
Licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of Nevada.
Current CPR/AED certification.
Prior experience working with high school or youth athletes is preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and within a team.
Passionate about youth athletics and community wellness.
