Preferred Rehab in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Licensed Athletic Trainer who is interested in expanding their scope through Chiropractic Assistant certification. This role blends clinical support with patient-facing care in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about helping patients recover, move better, and feel their best. You’ll work closely with chiropractors, massage therapists, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Overview
As a Licensed Athletic Trainer / Chiropractic Assistant, you will support both the clinical and administrative functions of the clinic. You’ll assist with patient care, therapeutic modalities, exercise supervision, and daily operations while helping maintain a smooth, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and assist with therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs
Perform preliminary patient evaluations, including vital signs, range of motion, and flexibility assessments
Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as directed
Assist chiropractors during treatments and patient flow
Educate patients on home exercises, recovery strategies, and general wellness recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record system
Support front-office functions including scheduling, documentation, billing support, and patient intake
Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained
Monitor equipment safety and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed
Collaborate with the full care team to deliver an exceptional patient experience
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Athletic Trainer (required)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training
Interest in obtaining or maintaining Chiropractic Assistant certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and injury rehabilitation
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
CPR certification required
Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
Compensation
$25–$35 per hour, based on experience, licensure, and qualifications
