    About the Company

Our firm believes in designing environments that go beyond meeting expectations — they enrich lives. Every project blends creativity, technical precision, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

We recently moved into a new open-studio office and continue to build a strong, collaborative culture. Our team is composed of talented professionals who value open communication, shared success, and a healthy balance between creativity and technical excellence.

    Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to join our team and establish an in-house civil engineering presence within our architecture and design group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and enjoys working across diverse project types — from custom residential to large-scale commercial developments.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about both design and precision engineering, capable of producing complete, buildable civil drawings, and comfortable managing multiple active projects. This position offers the opportunity to influence meaningful work within a team that values culture, collaboration, and quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee civil design for a range of projects, including commercial, custom residential, and mixed-use developments.

    • Produce, review, and stamp complete construction documents (grading, drainage, utilities, and site development).

    • Collaborate daily with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.

    • Participate in weekly team meetings and project progress reviews.

    • Manage multiple ongoing projects, balancing priorities and maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

    • Engage occasionally with clients and consultants to provide project updates or design input.

    • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and design standards.

    Qualifications

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

    • 5+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in site design and development.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.

    • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or other civil design software.

    • Experience with both new construction and renovation projects preferred.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — thrives in a team-centric, open-office setting.

    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple active projects concurrently.

    • Candidates with construction field experience are welcome, but the primary focus is design-side engineering.

    Work Environment

    • Full-time, in-office position (Reno, NV).

    • Collaborative, open-studio workspace designed for transparency, teamwork, and creativity.

    • Approximately 40+ projects active at any given time, offering variety and professional growth opportunities.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive salary (DOE)

    • 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees

    • Optional dependent coverage

    • Simple IRA with up to 3% employer match

    • 8 paid holidays + PTO

    • Education assistance program for continued learning or professional development

    • 90-day and annual reviews for performance growth and career development

    • Performance-based raises and bonuses
