    The Counseling and Diagnostic Center of Woodfield, Ltd. (CDCW) is a well-established outpatient mental health practice dedicated to improving the behavioral and emotional well-being of individuals and families. We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with expertise in therapy and psychological assessment for children, including work with DCFS-involved clients.

    About CDCW:

    CDCW provides comprehensive outpatient services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our experienced clinicians offer:

    Individual, family, and group psychotherapy

    Comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments

    Services for high-acuity clients and those recently discharged from inpatient or residential care

    Psychological testing credentialed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS)

    Coordination with schools, primary care providers, and outside agencies

    On-site psychiatric services and medication management to support continuity of care

    Position Highlights:

    We are seeking a clinician who:

    Holds a current Illinois license as a Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)

    Specializes in working with children and adolescents

    Has experience conducting psychological assessments and writing comprehensive reports

    Is eligible to be credentialed for DCFS testing services

    Provides therapy using evidence-based approaches for a range of presenting concerns

    Collaborates effectively with prescribing providers to support medication management as part of a multidisciplinary care plan

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working with trauma, behavioral challenges, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and mood disorders

    Familiarity with child welfare systems and school-based consultation

    Strong written and verbal communication skills
