Our approach is holistic, using integrated interventions that focus on mind, body and spiritual health and wellness. Our vision as innovative trail blazers in providing a new model of integrated health care has led to the development of clinical heath psychology specialties and contracts with three large managed health care systems.
We strive to provide our patients with the best clinicians in California. Our mission and values are reflected in our hiring practices and employment policies. If you’re one of the best and equally committed to excellence in patient care, we’d love to meet you.
Our compensation plan is more generous than most with fees of $88-$145 per session. Full-time is defined as a minimum of 25 patient sessions per week with estimated compensation at $125,000 -$135,000 depending on insurance payor mix. For those clinicians who are comfortable seeing more than 25 patients per week, income would be higher but we encourage optimum work-life balance. We offer opportunities for future leadership roles and supporting our providers’ growth and development. Full-time employees are eligible for medical and dental benefits plus incentives.
Requirements and Qualifications:
California licensure as a clinical psychologist
Doctoral degree from an APA accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology
Preference given to candidates with relevant experience in a health care setting or completion of a health psychology track in a doctoral program
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience (including pre-doctoral internships)
Commitment to see a minimum of 15 patients per week and with no other private practice commitments
Flexibility with a hybrid delivery model requiring at least one day in the office; either seeing patients via telehealth or in-person. Additional days in the office are welcomed.
Passion for excellence in patient care using evidence-based interventions
Enthusiasm for continued growth and professional development
Shared values of our patient-centric practice with a deep commitment to the highest ethical standards and excellence in patient treatment outcomes.
Additional Opportunities for Training and Development in a Clinical Health Psychology Specialty
We offer in-service training and development support to our psychologists who are interested in a specialization in clinical health psychology. We’ve developed our own training programs in psycho-oncology, psycho-gastroenterology, women’s sexual health, geropsychology, pediatric psychology, derma-psychology, neuropsychology, psycho-endocrinology, and cardiac psychology.
We offer meaningful opportunities for psychologists who understand today’s relevance of collaborative, integrated care and practicing from a health and wellness model and not a disease model. Interested candidates, please submit a cover letter and CV addressed to Kristin Kleppe, PsyD.
Flexible work from home options available.
