    About the Practice

Innovative Treatment Centers is a well-established outpatient mental health clinic serving the Glen Burnie and greater Anne Arundel County community. We provide evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a range of presenting concerns. Our team is collaborative, clinically grounded, and committed to sustainable clinician workloads — we believe that clinician wellbeing is the foundation of excellent care.

We are a hybrid in-network and private-pay practice, which gives our clinicians access to a steady referral stream while maintaining healthy fees and reasonable caseloads.

    Position Summary

We are hiring a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our team as a full-time W-2 employee. This role combines individual therapy with couples/family work and psychological assessment (neuropsychological and/or psychoeducational). Caseload composition is flexible and can be tailored to your clinical strengths and interests.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $115,000 – $145,000 annually, commensurate with experience, specialization, and assessment capability

    • Productivity bonus: additional compensation for billable hours exceeding weekly target

    • Health insurance: medical, dental, and vision with employer contribution

    • Retirement: 401(k) with [X]% employer match

    • Paid time off: 2 weeks PTO plus federal holidays

    • Malpractice insurance: fully covered by the practice

    • License & credentialing: Maryland license renewal reimbursed; we handle insurance credentialing on your behalf

    • Professional development: $2,500 annual CEU/conference stipend

    • Paid administrative time: protected weekly hours for documentation, consultation, and treatment planning

    • Supervision & consultation: paid participation in weekly team case consultation

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • Provide individual psychotherapy to a mixed caseload (children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families, depending on clinical strengths)

    • Conduct psychological assessments — neuropsychological, psychoeducational, or diagnostic — and author clear, clinically useful reports

    • Develop treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practice (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, family systems, etc.)

    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EHR (notes completed within 48 hours of session)

    • Coordinate care with physicians, schools, psychiatrists, and other providers when clinically indicated

    • Participate in weekly team consultation and occasional practice meetings

    • Target of 22–28 billable clinical hours per week after a 90-day ramp-up period (lower if assessment-heavy caseload)

    Required Qualifications

    • Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program

    • Completion of an APA-accredited internship

    • Active licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Maryland (or license-eligible with ability to be licensed within [X] days of hire)

    • Demonstrated competence in at least one evidence-based treatment modality

    • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

    • Ability to maintain a consistent in-office and telehealth schedule

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience conducting psychological testing (neuropsychological, psychoeducational, or comprehensive diagnostic batteries)

    • Experience working with children, adolescents, or families

    • Specialty training in trauma, anxiety/OCD, couples therapy, or ADHD/learning disorders

    • Prior experience in a group practice or outpatient clinic setting

    • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) strongly preferred

What You Can Expect From Us

    • A full caseload of well-matched referrals — you focus on clinical work, not marketing

    • Insurance credentialing handled in-house

    • A modern EHR with integrated billing, scheduling, and telehealth

    • Dedicated administrative and billing support

    • A private, furnished office for in-person sessions

    • Clear expectations, stable pay, and a respectful team culture

    • Room to grow — supervision, program development, and leadership pathways available

    Schedule

Full-time, approximately 32–40 hours per week including clinical, administrative, and consultation time. Some evening availability preferred to accommodate working clients and families. Flexibility in setting your weekly schedule within practice operating hours.
