Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
We are currently accepting applications for multiple Social Worker Associates - Clinical (LCSWA) positions. The LCSWA will work under the supervision of an LCSW for the care and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include performing biopsychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans with other team members under the supervision of an LCSW. The LCSWA is responsible for working collaboratively to develop a discharge plan with the patient, support system, and community resources. This individual is also responsible for providing family and individual interventions, psychosocial education, as well as facilitating therapeutic groups. This individual may work with patients who are legally Incapable To Proceed (ITP), which would include involvement with individual capacity restoration services and liaison work with community legal systems.

The normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; however, flexibility is required based on hospital needs.
Education and Experience Requirements
License/Certification:
· Documented knowledge of the NC Community Mental Health System
· Experience in an inpatient psychiatric environment
· Ability to function as a member of an Interdisciplinary team
