We are a team of people helping people. Our independent insurance business is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.

Our hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 – 5:00 EST. As a remote employee, you will be expected to work these hours regardless of time zone you currently reside.

Job Responsibilities:

Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper

Supporting teammates with follow up for clients and prospects

Research and resolve coverage questions

Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically

Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company

Ability to follow a process from start to finish, including accurate naming details and naming standards

Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling

Provide thorough account reviews for clients, identifying potential exposures, gaps in coverage or needed lines of business

Assist with other daily duties as they arise and are needed for the benefit of the team

Professional and Personal Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator

Type quickly and accurately

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Organized, structured, punctual and able to follow rules and direction

Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest

A passion for learning and advancing your career through education, classes, podcasts, trainings and more

Able to communicate and articulate issues as they arise and bring forward potential solutions

Wages and Compensation:

We offer competitive annual wages depending on experience. You must be licensed. Bonuses for performance KPIs and other benefits are available as well. Our agency offers an employer matched IRA, AFLAC benefits, Health insurance, Vacation & PTO. Our Ideal candidate has a valid Georgia Property & Casualty License, At least 5+ years of Commercial lines experience, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail. Knowledge of Hawksoft AMS is a Plus!

Experience Requirements:

5-10 years of experience working with multiple carriers and in-depth knowledge of coverage. We will train and educate the successful candidate on any other areas.
