Cothran Schoonover Insurance—a locally trusted agency serving Virginia since 1981 is looking for a Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our Collinsville team. In this client-facing, in-office role, you’ll handle personal lines service requests, assist clients with their home, auto, and other personal lines policies, and ensure each customer receives prompt and reliable support. You’ll collaborate with agents and account managers to deliver the responsive, personalized service that defines Cothran Schoonover. Compensation • Salary: $50,000–$60,000 (based on experience, licensing, and bilingual ability) • PTO: 15 days to start (up to 20 days for experienced hires) • Incentives: Monthly CSR bonus contests • Flexibility: Four 2-hour flex days per year (late arrival or early leave) Responsibilities: • Provide prompt, professional support to clients regarding auto, home, renters, and other personal lines policies • Answer inbound phone calls, return voicemails, and respond to client emails • Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals • Accept and apply client payments; explain billing and coverage details • Monitor and respond to the shared CSR email and voicemail inboxes • Assist with claims-related communication and documentation • Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system • Support agents and producers with follow-ups, quotes, and servicing needs • Provide bilingual service to Spanish-speaking clients when applicable • Stay current with underwriting guidelines and Virginia insurance regulations Qualifications: • Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License required • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required • Experience in insurance customer service or account management • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM tools • Reliable, team-oriented, and organized • Comfortable in a fast-paced, service-focused office environment Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 based on experience, licensing, and bilingual ability
