Licensed Electrician

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and troubleshooting techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Execute electrical installations for new construction and renovation projects
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects
Required Qualifications
- Valid state electrical license (Indiana preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a licensed electrician
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
- Physical ability to work in various environments including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician certification
- Experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Knowledge of motor controls, PLCs, and variable frequency drives
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind)
- Familiarity with building automation systems
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience
Technical Skills
- Electrical installation and repair techniques
- Use of electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters)
- Conduit bending and cable pulling
- Panel installation and wiring
