About the Role:

MJ Barber & Beauty Academy is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Licensed Esthetics Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for a beauty professional who loves education, inspires students, and is committed to helping future estheticians succeed in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities:

Teach both theory and hands-on esthetics training

Educate students on skincare, facials, waxing, sanitation, makeup, and professional techniques

Prepare students for state board examinations and career success

Monitor student progress, attendance, and performance

Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive classroom environment

Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and state regulations

Assist with curriculum development and student mentoring

Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Valid California esthetician license required (minimum 3 years)

Beauty industry experience

Previous teaching experience is a plus

Strong communication and leadership skills

Passion for education and student success

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
