Job Summary:
As a Sales Specialist at Dan True Agency, you will market, prospect, and sell products across multiple lines and multiple insurance carriers. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions that make sense, and build lasting relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, setting goals, and being rewarded for performance.
Responsibilities:
Learn and understand the local market to identify new business opportunities Grow the agency using consultative selling techniques with new clients Proactively cross sell additional coverage to existing clients when appropriate Prospect for new business through leads, phone calls, networking, referrals, social media, and community involvement Generate new business through personal effort and established lead sources Prepare quotes, applications, and presentations that clearly explain coverage and value Represent the agency at community and networking events to build brand awareness
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Strong interest in sales, relationship building, and personal growth Active or willing involvement in the local community Previous sales or customer service experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable analyzing client needs and recommending solutions Experience using computers, smartphones, tablets, and basic office software Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
