    What You'll Do:
    As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent , your job is simple: grow new business. You'll actively seek out prospective clients (think: realtors, car dealers, new homeowners, referral partners), consult them on their insurance needs, and bring in new policies. This is not a client service role—it's 100% focused on driving acquisition and building new business.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
    • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close sales.
    • Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
    • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
    • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
    • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
    • Be outstanding at relationship building.
    • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
    • Obtain prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

    ✅Qualifications

    • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license – or the ability to get one prior to the start of your employment. **If your license is not NY, you will need to obtain both in your state and NY ***

    • A passion for sales and making connections

    • A genuine willingness to learn, be goal oriented and sales driven

    • Strong communication and closing skills

    • Confident, self-starter who works well independently and with a sense of urgency

    • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

    • Career-minded vision.

    • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills. Must be equipped with great listening and closing skills

    • Works well with other employees and is a dependable team player

    • Quick learner

    • An NY based network in real estate, auto, or mortgage industries
