Position Overview
As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative, you will work directly with prospective and existing customers to identify insurance needs, present tailored coverage options, and close new business. This role combines relationship-building, consultative selling, and disciplined follow-up to help drive agency growth.
Success in this role is measured by production, customer relationships, and overall sales performance.
Responsibilities
Follow up with warm leads and inbound opportunities provided by the agency
Conduct consultative insurance conversations to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Quote, present, and close personal lines insurance products professionally and confidently
Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support retention and referrals
Handle objections effectively and guide conversations toward successful outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up activity within agency systems
Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing communication, coaching, and team meetings
Consistently work toward meeting and exceeding production goals
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty license required
Prior insurance sales experience required
Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Disciplined follow-up and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a performance-based sales environment
Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
