We are partnering with our preferred lender to bring on an additional LICENSED Loan Officer who will work closely with our team and our buyers. Our team generates significant buyer demand through marketing, referrals, and agent relationships. We are looking for a Loan Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at follow-up and communication, and wants to grow their business with a steady stream of opportunities. This role is ideal for a Loan Officer who already has some experience in the mortgage industry and is looking to increase production by partnering directly with an active real estate team. Responsibilities: Partner closely with real estate professionals to guide buyers through the pre-approval process and identify financing solutions aligned with their unique financial goals. Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients throughout the mortgage process, keeping them informed, confident, and supported at every stage. Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with real estate agents and clients to create a smooth and positive home financing experience. Educate homebuyers on loan programs, interest rates, and available financing options, helping them make informed and confident decisions. Follow up consistently with prospective clients while maintaining relationships with past customers to generate repeat business, referrals, and long-term opportunities. Collaborate effectively with real estate agents and internal lending teams to keep transactions on track from contract execution through closing. Manage loan applications, required documentation, and key milestones to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing. Deliver an exceptional client experience that demonstrates professionalism, integrity, responsiveness, and a commitment to service excellence while representing both the real estate team. Qualifications: • • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required, or the ability to obtain the necessary license within a reasonable timeframe. • Prior experience as a Loan Officer or in the mortgage lending industry is preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, real estate professionals, and business partners. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage follow-ups, deadlines, documentation, and competing priorities effectively. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and loan transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. • Self-driven, results-oriented professional who can work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to providing responsive, personalized service and an exceptional overall client experience. • Must be based in Charleston, South Carolina, or be willing and able to work within the Charleston market. Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 yearly
