Job Summary

Massage & Stretch Therapists will provide therapeutic deep tissue massages and guided stretch therapy sessions tailored to the patient’s needs. These treatments help patients create new, healthier muscle holding patterns, improve mobility, and complement their chiropractic adjustments. Massage & Stretch Therapists are an essential part of the care team, supporting patients in achieving their individual health goals as established in the office.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Massage & Stretch Therapist to work hands-on with patients in a high-energy, wellness-focused chiropractic office. In this role, you will provide both massage therapy and assisted stretch therapy as part of customized care plans.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing your space for appointments, performing therapeutic sessions, educating patients about muscle function and movement, and collaborating with the chiropractor and support team. You’ll also assist with follow-up scheduling and occasional patient communication to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

Perform therapeutic massage therapy sessions (up to 90 minutes)

Conduct one-on-one stretch therapy sessions using guided, functional movement patterns

Educate patients on flexibility, posture, and movement mechanics

Maintain a positive, service-minded attitude with all patients and staff

Arrive in advance to prepare for sessions and ensure the treatment room is ready

Follow up with patients who miss appointments

Maintain hygiene standards and cleanliness of equipment/therapy rooms

Assist with scheduling stretch/massage sessions and general flow of patient care

Requirements

Valid California Massage Therapy License

Experience with stretch therapy or assisted stretching techniques (FST, PNF, etc. — preferred but not required)

Customer service experience with one-on-one interactions

Passion for health and wellness, and commitment to delivering excellent care

Willingness to work as part of an integrated healthcare team
