Licensed Master Service Plumber l Commercial & Industrial
Mokena, IL | Serving the Chicagoland Area Above-Union Compensation + Full Benefits + Service Truck Commercial & Industrial Service Plumbing
About Us
We’re a well-established mechanical contractor serving the Chicagoland area with a strong reputation in commercial and industrial plumbing service work. We’ve built our company on quality workmanship, reliability, and a team environment where people genuinely respect and support one another.
This is not a high-ego or corporate-style environment. It’s a close-knit, down-to-earth team where people take pride in their craft, communicate well, and show up for each other. The culture is professional but relaxed — we work hard, solve problems, and keep things straightforward.
We’re looking for a licensed Master Plumber who not only brings strong technical ability in the field but also fits into a team-oriented environment. Someone who is dependable, easy to work with, confident running service calls independently, and willing to share knowledge or support less experienced technicians when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform service and repair work on commercial and industrial plumbing systems
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve plumbing issues in the field
Manage service calls independently across the Chicagoland area
Work directly with customers, facility managers, and jobsite contacts
Provide guidance or support to younger journeymen when appropriate
Communicate clearly with office staff regarding job status and updates
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
Represent the company positively in the field at all times

Ability to run service calls independently without supervision
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in the field

Comfortable supporting or mentoring less experienced techs when needed
Clean driving record
What Makes Someone Successful Here
Takes ownership of their work and follows through
Works well independently but also fits into a team environment

Stays calm and solution-focused in the field
Brings a steady, reliable presence to the team
Respects the trade and takes pride in doing quality work
Compensation & Benefits
Above-union competitive pay (aligned with Local 130 market standards)

Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k)
Paid time off & holidays
Long-term stability with a respected contractor

Why This Role
This is a long-term opportunity with a company that values experienced tradespeople and wants the right fit both technically and culturally. You’ll have autonomy in the field, strong support from the office, and the ability to work alongside a team that takes pride in doing things the right way without unnecessary complexity or ego.
