    Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

    Our client is a growing, non-profit healthcare organization focused on providing inclusive, high-quality care to underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on Behavioral Health, Primary Care, HIV care, and LGBTQ+ health. Services are delivered across multiple outpatient clinics in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and the UCF area, with this role primarily based in Kissimmee.

    Our client offers the following:

    • $85,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
    • Full Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental)
    • 401(k) with 3% match (immediate)
    • 2 weeks of PTO first year
    • Office closed the last 2 weeks of the year
    • 6 Paid Holidays
    • 1-hour lunch daily
    • No on-call
    • Onsite position only

    Requirements:

    • Current, active, and unencumbered Florida LMHC license
    • Experience providing outpatient talk therapy
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
    • Experience working with HIV and LGBTQ+ populations preferred
    • Ability to work onsite in an outpatient clinic setting
    • Simple EMR: Tebra (CareCloud)

    Responsibilities:

    • Monday - Thursday (9am - 5pm) Friday (9am - 2pm) 
    • Provide high-quality outpatient individual therapy services to new and established patients.
    • Maintain a manageable caseload, averaging approximately 6 patients per day.
    • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic interventions.
    • Educate and support patients through evidence-based counseling practices.
    • Coordinate care with primary care providers and behavioral health team members.
    • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational programs.
    • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
    • Additional responsibilities may be required
