Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate and effective mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families, ensuring each client feels heard and supported. • Develop personalized treatment plans that empower clients to achieve their mental health goals, fostering a sense of progress and accomplishment. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards. • Collaborate with fellow counselors and psychiatric nurses to share insights and strategies, enhancing the quality of care we provide. • Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy. • Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your expertise to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. • Advocate for clients' needs within the community, connecting them with resources and support systems that enhance their well-being and recovery journey. Qualifications: • Full Counseling License in Florida REQUIRED.
