Responsibilities: • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members • Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families • Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning • Document care and consult with supervisors regarding care decisions on a regular basis Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree • Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting • State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc • Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology Compensation: $60 - $85 hourly based on billing
