Counseling Anchorage is Anchorage’s first outpatient clinic specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring mood disorders. We are now hiring a licensed mental health professional for a team approach to treating eating disorders and co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. This person will be familiar with evidenced-based treatment for mood disorders and trauma and will have basic knowledge of treatment for eating disorders with a keen desire for professional development in this area.
Our team believes in the efficacy of professional collaboration, weight-inclusive treatment approaches, and holistic, evidence-based treatment to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients.
The mental health professional in this position will be a member of our multidisciplinary clinical team, providing counseling and case management (when necessary) in an outpatient setting. The person in this position is responsible for the clinical, diagnostic, and administrative activities that come with clinical work.
We have both full-time (32-40 hours per week) and part-time (20-32 hours per week) positions available; this position requires some limited evening (after 5:00pm) or weekend availability. We offer the potential for hybrid work for clinicians who want the flexibility to work from home via telehealth. Some in-office hours are required.
Flexible work from home options available.
