Our clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor). Responsibilities: • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients of your choosing • Conduct thorough assessments using medical records, interviews, observations, and collaboration with team members to determine client mental health status • Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives • Provide follow-up care, crisis intervention when necessary, and consistent communication with referral sources • Complete timely documentation—notes must be submitted within 24 hours • Respond promptly to referrals and maintain professional, dependable attendance (frequent cancellations send the wrong message to those in need) • Maintain clinical boundaries and adhere to ethical standards • Actively participate in our team culture of empowerment, support, and collaboration Qualifications: • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Active PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, LSW, LAPC) • Strong clinical skills and ethical standards • Reliable, compassionate, and self-motivated • Excellent written and verbal communication • Minimum of 3-5 years of working with mental health patients is required • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000
