Responsibilities: • Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties Qualifications: • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support) • State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required Compensation: $72,000 yearly
