Sankofa Holistic Counseling Services (SHCS) is a private group practice, seeking licensed therapists to provide Telehealth and in-person services to our community. The demand for our services has expanded throughout the county of San Joaquin. We are from the community, and proudly, locally grown, schooled, and owned.

Job Description: Provide individuals with the psychosocial support and education needed to address their identified mental well-being needs. Services provided but not limited to assessment, diagnosis, and advocacy. Provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions i.e., depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders. Ideal Candidate: Does the personal work of self-care, introspection, vulnerability, and growth to become a better person and therapist, especially about issues of anti-racism, White supremacy, and systemic oppression. Someone who wants to be the "holder of hope," and help guide our clients to their optimal selves. Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed Mental Health Clinician in California

LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist

Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree

Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills

Experience working with individuals, families, and/or couples

Experience working with a variety of client populations which may include children, teens, adults, and elderly clients

Knowledge of and experience with specialized populations and issues specific to them.

Computer skills and ability to use a telehealth platform via internet connectivity

Enrollment in CAQH

The assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of DSM V mental health disorders via our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform

Clinical telehealth record documentation on our secure platform per the standards of care and licensing requirements.
