LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT
Job Title: LNA – Correctional FacilityRate: Up to $120.00 weekly

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Complete a state-approved training program, which includes classroom instruction and hands-on clinical practice.
- Current licensure as an LNA in the state of employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Experience
- One (1) years in specialty required.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Licenses/Certifications
- Must have certification for LNA competency.
- Must have current licensure as an LNA in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, always ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, reporting any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility challenges, assisting them in moving from bed to chair, walking, or using mobility aids while ensuring safety protocols are followed to prevent falls.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Support patients in maintaining personal hygiene, assisting with oral care, toileting, and incontinence care, promoting overall well-being.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities, vital signs, and any changes in patient condition, adhering to facility policies and maintaining confidentiality.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare staff, effectively communicating patient needs, concerns and progress to foster a supportive environment.
