Responsibilities: • Resolve billing, policy change, coverage, and insurance claims issues using exemplary customer service skills • Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary • Keep accurate personal information for all sales prospects and customers within insurance company databases • Customize personal lines insurance policy options, quotes, and educational materials for potential and current customers • Employ creative networking and sales strategies to generate leads that convert prospective clients into new clients • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation to expand the agency’s customer base • Write profitable, retainable insurance policies by matching customers with appropriate coverage and carriers based on risk profile and underwriting guidelines • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and follow-up communication Qualifications: • Previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a high school diploma are required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office mandatory; proficiency in agency management systems preferred • In-depth knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings along with their key differentiators • Valid, state issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
