    · Gain extensive operative experience

    · Work directly with a nationally recognized surgeon and educator

    · Become an integral member of a collaborative, mission-driven practice

    · Help improve the lives of transgender and gender-diverse patients every day · We believe exceptional surgical outcomes begin with exceptional patient relationships.

A tentative schedule could look like: Monday and some Thursdays clinic, OR Tuesday–Thursday, Friday telemedicine/administrative time, with a shared call schedule.

Responsibilities · First assisting in the operating room · Conducting preoperative and postoperative evaluations · Managing outpatient clinic visits · Coordinating perioperative patient care · Providing patient education and counseling · Participating in postoperative call rotation · Collaborating closely with our administrative and clinical teams to ensure an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications · A licensed Physician Assistant (or eligible for California licensure) · Two years of surgical experience required · Passionate about surgery and patient care · Compassionate, professional, and emotionally intelligent · Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment · A strong communicator and collaborative team member · Detail-oriented and highly organized · Committed to providing affirming, respectful care to LGBTQ+ patients · Must live locally
