About the Role:
Join NY ORTHOPEDICS PC as a Physician Assistant in New jersey (85% and NY 15%) where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional orthopedic care both surgically and in clinic . Bilingual Spanish preferred This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with a skilled team and make a real difference in patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations to determine treatment plans.
Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Prescribe medications and manage patient follow-ups.
Educate patients on orthopedic conditions and preventive care.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with orthopedic practices.
Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
Current PA license in New Jersey or New York State.
Minimum of 2 years experience in orthopedic or surgical settings preferred.
Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
